Wedding Details: South Bend Country Club with Ruth's Chris Steakhouse Catering 200 guests 5:30-6:30 Social Hour, 6:30-10pm Dinner & Reception Pros: -Communication prior to event was clear, direct, & professional. DjB was super responsive and accommodating to our preferences throughout the planning process. -Showed up early (wedding in Indiana, he's from Ohio), and was set up and ready to roll for the event. Attentive and flexible, great attitude and did exactly as we asked. -Quality equipment and (more importantly) he knew how to use it effectively! -Professional looking setup including speaker stand and board covers with lighting. DjB also inquired on our preference for his dress code - everything looked amazing. -Pricing package was all inclusive, straightforward and excellent value Cons: -DJ-ing style wasn't totally conducive to our taste in dancing as he faded out some songs a little early -Though he had saved my credit card for the online payment, he encountered some problems processing it and had to ask us on our way to the hotel to resubmit it. Totally understand, and we did it happily, but would have been nice to wait til at least the next day so we didn't have to think about it on our wedding night! Overall: Professionalism DjB was willing to do whatever you needed for the event, but also able to take professional discretion when you didn't have a strong preference. Other vendors talked you for 1hr+ selling their service, DjB was there when you needed him and never wasted your time. His service & reviews speak for his excellent work. Experience I was a professional sound tech in LA for 4 years and asked specific questions to gauge his knowledge of his tech/gear. DjB knows his equipment and does quality work! Pricing With DjB, we got professional sound equipment + lighting + a sleek looking booth + great service for $500, couldn't be beat! We bought him dinner and left a well-deserved tip, but more importantly, want to express our gratitude and satisfaction with his service through our review! We could have paid a lot more and gotten a lot less with other vendors. DjB doesn't have a website, but relies on reviews and word of mouth because his work speaks for itself! Would totally go with him again and recommend him to anyone in his service area!

DJ Brennen did an excellent job with the Mason Middle School 8th grade dance. He was professional to work with, had fun with the students and played appropriate music for the group. Once the students were on the dance floor they really didn't leave.

Brennen did an awesome job as the DJ for our daughter’s graduation party. The kids loved the way he mixed the music and played all of their requested songs. He is very professional and a pleasure to work with!

Typically $150 per hour (prices may vary), but everything can be negotiated based on your event!

We like to engage with a new client in order to understand what they are looking for exactly and hopefully be able to offer suggestions or ideas to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Brennen, aka DJ Brooks, the owner of Adventure DJs, holds a degree in Audio Engineering from The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences based out of Tempe, AZ. This paired with nearly 10 years of prior DJ experience, sets Adventure DJs apart from the competition!
