Ric Johnson did an extraordinary job on the lighting and electronics in our home. He not only conquered the problems in the new wing, but also addressed the problems in the renovated section of our home adding heated tile to the kitchen, halls and bathrooms and aiding in the selection of all new "green" lighting. His theater ceiling designs are unique and he added stage lighting for our grandchildren as well as mood lighting throughout. We have a small kitchen area in our theater with custom cabinets where Ric installed hidden undercounter lighting so that when a movie is playing, there is no lighting distraction. Ric created a separate electric box so that if there is a power outage, the entire theater including appliances, will be working. He also created hidden lighting in the theater alcoves which highlights the posters but doesn't distrub the ambiance. He carefully selected wall plates that coordinated perfectly with tiles and with paint colors throughout the house. There are many little touches he personally selected such as the wall switches that feature a tiny blue light so that they can easily be found at night. In the chapel, he highlighted wiht tiny led's, a small stained glass window that acutally borders a hallway, so that the window "glows" even when there is no exterior light shining through it, Ric was prompt to correct any perceived errors and extremely helpful in the selection of appropriate fixtures. Ric also selected and installed for us, a high tech security system that is state-of-the -art. I would highly recommed his work to anyone considering a new lighting or electronic project, or in the renovation of an existing project.
