STEM (K-12) Tutoring

Introduction: Hi! My name is Vishal. I'm a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, class of 2013; I majored in Biology. I just finished my Master of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Cincinnati, and am applying to medical school. My areas of study are cell biology, genetics, evolutionary biology, physiology, and biochemistry. I have experience studying and teaching psychology, general chemistry, mechanical physics, electromagnetic physics, and mathematics (including calculus). I also have experience tutoring English reading and helping students with their college applications and preparing for the SAT. I am NOT a dedicated SAT tutor however, but have experience tutoring SAT material. I have tutored for three years during my college years at the University of Pennsylvania, and continue tutoring K-6 kids with a volunteer group at the University of Cincinnati, giving me experience tutoring individuals from all age groups and from different lifestyles. Being a student myself gives me insight into different learning styles which allows me to alter my methods to best suit the student. One of my most recent tutees from Philadelphia who I tutored for the SAT and helped with her college essays was admitted to Clemson College. I look forward to working with you!
