Awful barn. Owner does care about horses, she tries, but has bad people management and can't seem to keep the barn in order, to the extent that horses are often injured as a result. She does nothing but gossip, and as a result the other employees do too. They even talk bad about the little girls who ride ponies! Carol will get pissed off over anything. One minute no one puts enough fresh bedding n the stalls, the next minute they put too much. Being there made me feel like I was in high school again, and I wasn't even the target of any of this. The damn doors don't open, and there are always lessons or a billion other people there.

I love this barn. My horse is extremely happy there and I've had a great experience being there. There is a great group of kids that ride there. You know your horse gets spoiled when he gets excited to see Carol!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Provide board for horses that includes hay at least 5 times a day, grain twice a day, 12x12 stalls cleaned twice a day as well as daily turnout. We also offer private, semi private and group riding lessons for the beginner to advanced rider. Our trainers emphasize a strong foundation based on the principles of good horsemanship and safety as well as compassion for our horses.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We highly recommend visiting a farm you are considering for either lessons or boarding. Ask for a tour and to meet the trainers, perhaps observe a lesson or training session. Take a look at stalls - are they clean and well bedded? Do horses look happy and in good condition. Don't be shy - talk to current clients and get their feedback.
