- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price is $50 per hour for my time. I do not charge any additional % for furnishings I recommend. In fact, I usually have bargain shopped the pieces I recommend so my clients can be assured they are not paying more than necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process would include meeting, listening to what my client would like my help with and learning more about the scope of their project. Once I am hired I will take photos and measure if I will be helping with furniture and/or furniture placement. In addition, I will ask many questions regarding their vision for their home project, colors they gravitate toward etc. I tend to recommend visiting Houzz so I can view photos of rooms they love. This is usually a very good representation of how they are envisioning their final project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I am hired for are room makeovers. Paint, rugs, furniture, lighting, wall decor and more. My biggest project to date is a 5,000 sq ft new construction home. Was involved in every single selection. Custom cabinetry, flooring, color palette, hardware, furnishings, everything! Just finishing up details on this project.
