- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I carry an RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation I am required to complete 18 hours of continuing education every 3 years
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a manager in 2000 who encouraged me to pursue an RPA, which is a property management designation separating you from other managers. It includes intense training in various areas, budgeting, building maintenance, ethics, etc. I found out that I did not view this just as a job but as a career that I enjoyed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Rent collections, lease preparation, financial review of accounts payable and receivable, budget preparation, capital improvement analysis, renovation project oversight and management, assisting with acquiring new properties, any task that accomplishes the client's goals.
