I read journals and magazines in the field voraciously.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
For me, working on and programming computers was a natural passion. As soon as I bought my first one, I immediately set about learning everything I could about it and that was back in 1983!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly, simple things, like: installing software and setting it up, setting up and configuring new computers and peripherals, assisting clients in new purchases, instructing clients in how to use their computers, Windows or Mac OS X, etc.
