Introduction: I listen to the client first as I assess the space. I then begin to fit the asthetic needs of the client's purpose and budget into a plan before I begin to take appropriate action. Staging, redecorating and Feng Shui, even holiday decorating all call for very different and focused decorative steps to achieve successful outcomes. I love the challenge and the creativity involved in decorating a space. I enjoy when the action steps I take result in success for the client I am working for.

We've had Lisa do complete interior design for two homes. One a 1927 cottage-style home in Florence Park, the other a modern 2004 house. The two were very different, but she was able to do amazing work in each. She has the ability to think in three dementions, and can see potential in spaces that I felt were impractical and unusable. She also has a fantastic ability to use lighting and direct traffic flow to make spaces much more enjoyable and also functional. Lisa also was happy to share knowledge with us before, during, and after, so that if we felt like tweeking various aspects of the living spaces for special occasions or seasons, we could do so with ease and on our own. I can't recommend her services enough, especially if you have an unwieldy space, odd lighting conditions, or are needing help with a party/special occasion.

I just love Lisa's decorating sense. She does an excellent job at making suggestions and listening to my ideas. She has helped me see new and exciting possibilities for my home and work space. She is great to work with and she is always very professional. She makes you feel like you are the most important person and she wants you to love your space!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I first ascertain the focus and what is needed from me. Once I understand, I will either charge by the hour plus expences or bid the whole project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have an initial visit first to discuss the project and budget. Once we both understand the direction I then begin the creative process. It might be a consultation where we walk through as I trouble shoot and give them information and ideas about placement, color, paint options, etc. or it might be that I have a budget and begin the project of moving, painting, placing, buying, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified home stager and,I have staged for realtors in the Tulsa area.. Everything else I have done I have started from the ground up. I am a self taught artist. I started decorative painting for money in my 20s. I began redecorating my friends and relatives homes and painting concrete for commercial and private residences in my 30s. I also began my commercial holiday decorating business in 1998 which I sold and then restarted again later. I have studied and practiced Feng Shui principals in decorating for the last ten years and have since begun offering consultations in this area upon request.
