Introduction: Most recent example would be a meeting I had with a client. We sat down over coffee with a variety of stones for her to select from. She made her selections, I then took the stones and sketched out potential pendant designs and coordinating necklaces for each piece. We were satisfied with the sketches and I headed back to the studio. As is with every piece that we create, progress photos will be shared throughout the entire process. Working closely with the client, whether in person or online, allows for a deeper appreciation of each piece. Taking various metals and stones and transforming them into a quality constructed treasure to enjoy for generations to come!

I purchased a beautiful wire wrapped pendant with the wire making the tree of life on top of the stone. Absolutely gorgeous and very well made. I just commissioned Kat to make 3 of my Christmas gifts this season, this time sterling silver metal smith and stone. I can't wait to see them!

Kat and David are so professional and they create all their pieces from scratch on paper first. I have several of their pieces and love each one never a problem with anything! Wish I had their talent that they have in their little fingers...

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Given our tendency of tenacious curiosity, we continue to keep stretching and learning. We are constantly stretching and learning new skills, striving to provide the very best for our clients.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been creative in a broad range of mediums. I wanted to make my mother a birthday present one year and bought a set of pliers, some beads and wire...Watched every video and checked out every book from the library I could find. Mom still has that humble little necklace and earring set. It thrills my soul to see how far we've come since that fated day in 2007!

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A bridal set for a high school classmate. She and her love were planning an ocean side ceremony. Her criteria was the color blue - as blue as the ocean and a minimalist approach to the design. I created a necklace, earrings and bracelet of the most beautiful, shimmery Kyanite I could find. Set it in sterling silver with a touch of floral texture. Paired it with freshwater pearls...and dubbed it "Wendy's Bliss".
