- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
18' flat bottoms $300 24' flat bottoms $400 28' flat bottoms $550 30' flat bottoms $600 16'×24' flat bottoms $350 Prices go up on larger pools. 52" pools go up $50 Pools with deep ends go up $100 to $150 because they take longer to stretch in. $50 to $100 more if you have a deck to work from. Any digging around the pool is charged at $50 a section. An extra charge will be added if sand is needed. Any pool repairs will be charged accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently taking classes on pool chemistry and will continue taking more classes on repair of inground and above ground pools. I will soon be taking a class to be licensed to work on public pools.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I know that there is a demand for pool liner installers and if you hire someone that the pool supply companies you will be on a very long list. I enjoy working outdoors in the sun with my hands. Now i know how important it is for people to have a place to come home from a long day of work and have a nice place to relax and to spend time with hteir families.
