Introduction: I have not only been in this industry for over 20 years as a professional, but very recently I also was in your fabulous, glitter clad, stilettos walking down the aisle!! So not only can I relate on the professional level, I can tell you nothing is harder than being the wedding coordinator and floral designer doing your own wedding because no one else is good enough!! Needless to say I take great pride in what I do, I love what I do. It's about my bride, their stories and the vision. I custom create everything for my couples based on their venue, styles, personalities, budgets and season. I feel you must love the wedding industry to be great at it. I only do weddings and personal events because I believe it's an honor to be hired to assist in making your wedding perfect! I only use the highest quality products and the best tried and true vendors. This is a very personal business and I strive to create a comfortable relationship with my clients to give them the best, most stress free experience possible. My job as coordinator is to give you and your family the ability to to actually enjoy every moment of your wedding and not have to worry about the details. My team and I can handle anything and by creating the relationship and understanding your vision for your wedding I am just an extension of you carrying out your wishes and making sure everyone else has upheld their contractual obligations. We have a range of services to offer you at The Event. You can book a single service or we can tailor a package with multiple services based on your needs. We offer wedding coordination, theme design and decorating, custom floral design, rentals including linens, makeup artist on staff, candy and confectionery buffet, and more. We can assist you with as little or as much of your wedding needs as you need help with! We very often assist brides with the entire wedding start to finish so if that's something you need we can discuss how we. can help you as well. Each couple is unique and so should your wedding represent that unique story, personality and be tailor made just for you. I love learning about each couple and their story. This is a very personal business and it's a huge honor to play a role in one of the most important days of their lives. I love exceeding all their expectations. Having them walk in and see their wedding space transformed beyond anything they dreamed is an amazing feeling! The incredible letters I receive from couples and parents after their wedding makes everything I do feel even more validated. I grew my name and reputation in this business by the referrals I received from day 1. Being the " Go To" professional for the mansions and hotels has always been a great honor. If I have chosen to contact a bride via Thumbtack it's because something triggered a response in me as we only book one wedding per weekend and our business is referral based only. Thumbtack is a vessel that allows me to find couples I couldn't meet otherwise and reach out to them. Since we don't do any advertising and everything we do is a case by case basis, we truly have the freedom to make things happen for our clients that others can't. I might hear a story and be moved and surprise the couple with a full package on us and we take the time to listen and get all the details so we can tailor our packages for the clients specific needs and budgets and not charge for things that aren't needed.
