- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked as a foreman on a local foundation repair and drainage company for 7 years. I left that line of work to start a new career path and began doing small construction/handyman jobs in my spare time. Due to having a little boy that is special needs, I decided to quit my day job and follow my dream of owning my own small business. Having this freedom allows me to focus more on my family and be a more dedicated father and husband.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Painting, texturing, floor leveling and stabilization, structural repair, french and surface drains and light electrical.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always trust your instinct. I have heard of a lot of horror stories regarding bad contractors. Don't hesitate to ask for identification or references for any person you invite into your house to do work.
