Introduction: I'm a seasoned illustrator/children's book illustrator, and have worked with many different publishers on their projects, including some of my own. I can take your project help you bring it to life with digital illustrations that are created specifically for you.
I expect a lot from myself and my work, so you can be sure of professional and outstanding results.
I like the initial development stage, where I can create the sketches from the images I have in my head - I then like to work closely with my client so we are on the same page as to the desired final result. I always know what I want to see after reading a manuscript, or project specs, and can't wait to start!

Mary Manning designed a family Christmas card for us in December 2010. It was a very important card as my Dad had passed away and it was the first family card without him - and he had been the master. Her work was marvelous (the responses we received were some of the most heartfelt and glowing we have ever had - and our original cards have been sent for over 50 years!) Mary was patient (we were a bundle of undirected ideas) kind (totally compassionate about our nerves), and a delight to work with. We missed her as soon as the card was completed and have kept contact. Her artistry was lovely - simple, full of joy and beauty - and though barely knowing us - Mary captured the delight of my father's soul. His spirit permeated the card. It was a great comfort to our family and friends. She helped create a card that made you laugh and cry at the same time. Her artistry is undeniable. Her heart is immeasurable. If you are fortunate enough to engage Mary - you will have an illustrator that will bring to life what you have imagined and then some.
