- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$30 for 30 minutes; $45 for 45 minutes; $60 for 60 minutes Recital & book fees are $50 annually. Payment for the month is expected on the first calendar day of the month. Cash only. 10% discount to those who pay for each semester in the first month of a semester.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Student comes to my home and is assessed as to what level the student is at currently. Weekly Lesson time is mutually agreed. Tuition agreement and practice expectation is signed. Books are issued to student. Learning music begins!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied Piano Pedagogy with internationally known Dr. E.L. Lancaster at OU and with Dr. Brad Beckmann at UNT. I received a full 4-year piano scholarship during undergraduate degree; decades of experience teaching voice, piano, music theory, and choir conducting; taught public school music (both primary general music and secondary choral music) for 13 years; community college music professor for 13 years; university teaching Fellow at UH & UNT for 4 years; possess bachelors, masters, & doctoral degrees in music; Ph.D. in music in progress.
