- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not quote "set" prices on Thumbtack because we determine the cost of service based on the individuals situation as well as the nature of the legal situation. Our "fee for service" depends on a number of factors: my experience, the type of case, the location of the jurisdiction, your financial situation. Please call us and let us help you find a solution.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to meet people face to face. Some criminal charges are serious enough that a simple phone call is not enough to explore all the details of a situation. We are willing to do much of the intake process on the phone, however, if travel is not possible. We ask questions related to the legal problem, we get to know a client's personal situation. We help the client make a decision about what direction to take his legal problem. When hired, we immediately go to work to get their problem solved. We have an ongoing communication process during the length of the case. Our clients can call and talk to staff, they can set an appointment to discuss the ongoing case with the attorney and they receive timely notice of court dates, billing and case progress.
