- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad was an electrician growing up and my uncle was a trim carpenter. I worked for both growing up and I installed wood floors for a few years as well. I actually got a degree in exercise science and worked at a hospital for 4 yrs as an exercise physiologist. I loved working with my patients and rehabilitating them after their cardiac event. Unfortunately I was not making the money I wanted or needed so I started a handyman business on the side. That brought me back to my first passion which was working with my hands and providing the best service possible for someone. That allowed me to take the risk and start this company full time. I thoroughly enjoy it and I am blessed with the work I've had!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I really enjoy making live edge wood countertops. We have done a master bath vanity top and a kitchen top with 2" thick red oak and they are absolutely gorgeous!
