- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have base pricing for portrait shoots - time, number of photos needed, etc. For specialized shoots, prices will vary, but I always provide clients with a breakdown of the costs - shooting time, editing, and location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Have a conversation with them and see what degrees of vision they have for the shoot. Every job is unique and I really dive into what my client is looking for and wants to portray in the final body of work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best kind of photography education, working in the darkroom! Although I studied History and Classics in university, a camera has always been in my hand. I have worked extensively with both natural and studio light, and am comfortable and confident in either setting.
