I have been in business since 1992. I have a AFSP certification with the IRS for 2017, 2018 and 2019. I am up to date with all my required schooling required by the IRS. That required schooling consists of 18 CPE hours and the renewal of my PTIN number. The PTIN number gives me the right to charge a fee for my services. I always meet all my clients, old or new, at a neutral site. Usually at Starbucks or McDonald's close to your home. I am adding this because I have many clients who have asked me. I don't offer rapid refunds. Rapid refunds charge 35% to 39% to get your refund the next day. I do not believe you should give up your hard earn money to some bank that is greedy and to a tax prepare company that wants bigger fee out of your refund. I do not want you to pay upfront to get you taxes prepared and get you refund faster. Please think about what I just said. I'm also just renewed my Notary certification. I will take credit cards as a last resort. Only if there is no other way to pay for your taxes to be prepared. I found a company who offered a way to use credit cards one card fee at a time and no monthly fee. Due to the fee that credit card companies charge, I will have to charge a $5 fee to allow you to use a credit card to pay you fee. I now take PayPal for payment, but you pay the fees. The fees are 2.75% + 31¢. I'm sorry but I have to do this to keep my fees low. The one thing I enjoy about being a tax preparer is meeting so many nice people. And seeing them face to face. Like my business logo says "I'm Here To Help You."
