FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, I base the fee on my accumulated expenses that consider travel and time involved. I am not interested in making this a viable source of income. Instead, I am more interested in serving people and keeping it affordable. If I make a bid and the couple is not able to afford the asking price, I will work with them by making an adjustment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I allow couples to familiarize themselves with my work by sending samples of wedding services I have used in the past. I make every effort to contact them on a personal level by phone, email or text so I can be more informed about their needs. Whenever possible, I try to meet face to face before the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in counseling that allows me to work more closely with people. A good part of my working life has been focused on working with people, including college age students in a student center on a university campus. I have counseled with couples of all beliefs and cultures. I enjoy meeting new people and will work very hard to make sure I help them make their wedding very special. I am a good listener, and am there to serve their needs.
