- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cliff has decades of experience primarily focused on criminal defense, juvenile criminal defense, family law, and probate. Howard is a plaintiff's attorney with a strong background in business and human resources management. He understands how to negotiate with insurance companies, employers, and other institutional opponents. He also knows how to sue them.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Clients often overlook the relationship with the attorney, personally. It's hard to trust someone you don't get along with. The more complicated or serious your situation is, the more time you will need to spend with your attorney. For those reasons, I suggest you find an attorney that is easy for you to talk to. You don't need an attorney to be your best friend, but you do need to be able to form a good, professional relationship.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
When we meet a new client, the first thing we try to do is determine if we are the right firm to help that person. The law is very complicated and we restrict our practice to the areas in which we are the strongest.
