- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing of tax returns depends on the type of return being prepared. Our fees are forms based. Generally a 1040 return starts at $100 and an S Corp or Partnership starts at $300. Representation with the IRS or any State is billed at $150 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are happy to schedule a free initial consultation with all clients to discuss their tax issues. If the client wants to hire us we discuss what we will require to do the best possible job for them that we can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tax Professionals in Oregon are required to be licensed and must have a minimum of 30 hours continuing education to stay current with licensing. Enrolled Agents must take a rigorous three-part exam, pass a background check and have 70 or more hours continuing education every three years to renew their license. The are licensed to practice before the IRS for tax representation and audits.
