FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally like to give my clients two options for pricing: an hourly rate ($35 per hour), or a value based rate (a set price for the whole project). For most large projects, my clients choose the set price since it takes into account the full scope of each individual project and is customized to their needs. When I provide a quote for this type of pricing, I build 2-3 package options and talk through which best fits the needs and budget of my client.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common large job I do is logo and identity design. This could be a redesign of an existing logo or creating a whole new one. Identity design is about so much more than a logo; it's how the brand is portrayed and can also include a brand guideline manual, color palettes, icons, patterns, stationary, and more! Some other common, smaller jobs I do include flyers, postcards, brochures, stationary, and posters. These are often created for events, products and services, real estate, and conveying important information.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
As a part of the re-branding process for Salem First Presbyterian Church, I designed interior way finding signs. Around 90 signs were printed and installed throughout the church, providing some much needed direction and serving as the first glimpse the church body saw of the new identity in action.
