Introduction: We tailor our classes to fit each student's need. Sometimes when a student signs up for classes they aren't sure what they need or want. We help them find the learning style that fits them best. Sometimes the student and tutor match in learning and teaching style. Other times we aren't always the best match for students, if we feel they will do better with another tutor we refer them to someone else. Try a free trial lesson to get an idea of how we can help you. What I like most about tutoring over SKYPE is the nice people I meet from all over the world. I have met some of the nicest people and we develop a relationship over time because we see each other every week, and sometimes twice a week. I see my students more often than I see some of my friends. It is awesome to meet so many people.

Kathy and Carmelo are wonderful! I always enjoy my classes, and I learn so much. They are patient and pleasant people, which helps me to learn and retain all of the new information I am processing in my Spanish lessons. I've not regretted a single lesson :) highly recommend these superb teachers to anyone desiring to learn Spanish!

Kathy and Carmelo, of KCL Tutors, have been great. I worked mostly with Carmelo, and we met weekly to improve my Spanish skills. The lessons helped me improve my reading comprehension skills, build my vocabulary, and gain confidence in speaking Spanish for a full hour (not as easy as it looks!). I would recommend KCL Tutors to anyone trying to learn Spanish in a friendly environment.

So far, my Spanish lessons with Carmelo have been very helpful in prepping me for my upcoming translation exam. He has been flexible in working around my schedule and the price per lesson is very reasonable! Overall, a good tutoring service for my needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is very simple, the first class is free. After that classes are $30 per hour. This is a very reasonable price and quite competitive. Our classes are not free because students tend to lose motivation if classes are free. Believe us, we learned from experience. If you pay for a class you show you are more determined to succeed and learn.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. You send me an email or call me. 2. We discuss what your needs are and if we think we can help you. 3. We set up a 30 minute free class. 4. You decide if you would like to continue. 5. We discuss how many classes you would like and send you an invoice. 6. We schedule your classes and you begin to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My husband and I are both retired Spanish and ESL teachers. I am a native English speaker with years of experience teaching ESL and Spanish. My husband is a native Spanish teacher with years of teaching Spanish and ESL. We both have tutored for over six years over SKYPE. Our travels around the world help us understand the process of learning a language.
