I try to envision the possibilities that are present in the existing home layout. I will provide aesthetically pleasing concept design options which fit the client's budget. I am able to provide working drawings and handle all permit submissions. I provide an initial free cost/feasibility analysis. I will provide detailed, line-item proposals. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework...this is a big investment. Check your contractor's references. Look at prior work if possible. Of course, check on state license and insurance. Be sure to get a detailed scope of work....the devil is always in the details. If the contractor is detailed and meticulous in his estimate, it is more likely that his work will be of the same quality. The longer the contractor has been in business, the more likely he will have the experience to carry out the project. There is no free lunch...if it is too good to be true, it probably is.
