- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. In order to maintain my credentialed status, I must take continuing education. I have a mentor coach and a personal coach for myself who help me be more professional and aware of any areas that might make my coaching less effective. I attend conferences, discussions, and classes to keep myself current and to stretch my abilities.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask where they got their Coach Training. Because our profession is relatively new, there are many folks out their who have had little or no training in Life Coaching, but are calling themselves Life Coaches.
