FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on my level of professional experience in the industry 35+ years as well as estimated time needed to complete services in a full manner with all sanitary practices in place. I will require a non-refundable retainer fee for all booked services, which will be applied to entire service cost upon completion of service, as well as a signed contract prior to commencement of services. I am happy to discuss your unique needs and have a quick turnaround for response to questions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the type of service it is common to have a conversation via email, text or by phone in order to establish primary client needs and/or designs. Client may be suggested to do a trial makeup for specific events, and wedding makeups are required to do a trial makeup application prior to the wedding day makeup service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Fine Arts at Southern Connecticut State University, as well as I have been deeply involved in the Fashion & MakeUp Industry since 1986. I have worked for several Large Cosmetic Corporations, Fashion Retailers, and spent 17 years as a Regional Trainer for M.A.C Cosmetics on the East Coast and West Coast. I currently work at Sephora at Oakway Center as an LBA, and am a licensed Esthetician with a Freelance license to work off site and do contracted work. I subscribe to various online sites, follow top artists, and have a mainline to the industry in New York, Europe and L.A. if I need updates. I have been a Free Lance Artist for Celebrities, Fashion Show Models, Television Personalities, Theatre and Print/Newspaper/Video work. I always aspire to learning new technologies and trend as the face of artistry progresses. I am looking forward to building my professional network in the Eugene, OR. area.
