I know how to fill a dance floor and then keep it full (when that's required). I bring over 5000 songs from all styles and eras, but only play the danceable hits from the styles and eras the customer requests. My sole focus is that the client and crowd are satisfied and happy :-) Option: I can provide "celebrity" live music (singing The Lion Sleeps Tonight as a former member of the band that had that hit - The Tokens - and as a sax player who has had an internationally bestselling CD as a sax player). Another option: I can provide karaoke with top pro, studio quality equipment. I'm a good MC (when that's required). The thing that makes me happy is when the client and crowd are very happy and the client can just relax and enjoy themselves knowing that I will make sure that everything that they want to happen will happen and in a timely way. But I really enjoy the many compliments that I get while I'm doing my work and after the event is over. Also I enjoy the fact that I have total confidence that I can make the event happen even when I've been told ahead of time that "people are probably not going to dance."

In addition to being a tremendously attentive and flexible DJ, who adjusts his playlist to match the room and mood, Dennis offers a lot that other DJs cannot compete with. As a member of award winning bands, and an absolutely amazing sax player, Dennis adds that "extra something" to really make the event memorable. He really added an additional level of class and novelty to our evening. I don't know if there are better DJ experiences out there, but I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with Dennis.

DJ had a great set up, played great music, loved the line dances. He could have been a bit more interactive, and probably would have but I had a smaller group than expected and not many of them were dancers. Overall I was happy with the service

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It varies because the agencies I'm involved with usually require competitive bidding by a number of DJ's.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They choose me because of my great reviews, video, awards, credentials and website. Then we can talk on the phone or meet if they'd like. Then I email them Preferences forms and a contract with an $80 deposit. That locks us in for their date. And I've never sent a sub or taken a higher paying job for their date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a professional musician/entertainer for many years. I have a degree in engineering (for the technical expertise). I LOVE all kinds of music (except rap).
