I was going to build a deck, but after speaking to Kyle he completely changed my mind. My new stamped concrete patio looks way better than a deck! He worked with me to get the design I wanted perfect. He was very flexible to last minute changes and ideas, offered up plenty of helpful advice, and never told me “no”. I had a bathroom vent in the way and he even took care of that and routed it under the concrete. The guy knows his stuff. I couldn’t be happier!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got into the union for concrete in Alaska in 2008 and was more interested in the decorative side but I was in the union off and on since. I ran a decorative crew for another company and it kept drawing me back.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Skilled labor isn't cheap, and cheap labor isn't skilled. I get multiple unhappy customers who chose the cheapest option without knowing what they're getting into, and then they call me back to fix the other guys mistakes, wishing I did it for them the first time.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

A rough size, location, and time frame to which they want it done in.
