FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My per hour pricing is half of what is considered the norm. I include the cost of the referral into the price. I also research what is considered the average price for a particular job. For custom woodwork, prices reflect the vendors price + my time to complete the project and any possible variables to complete the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to respond as soon as possible when a customer puts out a project request. I use text messages to keep track of customers and information related their project. I encourage the customer to contact me via text because the message system of Thumbtack doesn't always work. I may not get the message in time from Thumbtack's for the customer's needs! Another reason I use text messages is I was born Deaf. However, I have excellent speech communication and writing skills up to the Ph.D level. So, don't be hesitant to text me about anything. If I don't know the answer, I will find it for you. I always give you - customers the first opportunity to reach me when I give you a quote.
