Nick was quick to come and give us an estimate. He explained what we needed to do to remove a birch that was threatening our foundation. When permit was approved, he was able to come that week and had it removed in less time than he had estimated. His pricing was fair. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts are offered for returning customers. Pricing is set at a fixed price per job. If there are multiple trees then it is an itemized list, showing the prices for each tree. I do not do hourly rates to ensure that the customer knows exactly how much they are paying, and are not left surprised if the job took longer and they end up having to pay more.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do in-person consultations and estimates for free, I come to you. Afterwards if all parties agree to the estimate, it will then be converted to an invoice after the work is completed. Following that, the customer can pay in various ways such as cash, check or card.
