- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you call or email Country Critters Pet Sitters (CCPS), a staff member or myself, the owner, will arrange a free consultation visit to your home. This should happen shortly before you need to leave for your trip. Your initial consult is 45-60 min and is important part of our new client process. It must take place in your home with all applicable pets present. We take this time to meet you and your pets and get detailed information about caring for them. We will sign a contract, provide invoicing, and pick up a key to your home or apartment at this time. We will then send you a sign up email to set you up with a client profile and receive texted or emailed pet visit notes. This also allows you to schedule subsequent visits and even pay your invoicing. All is done through our mobile app or accessible online. We will commence with pet sitting services, on dates scheduled and as agreed. Once your first visits are arranged and a contract is on file, any subsequent visits can be arranged by phone, email, or through our client mobile app in the client portal. When you return from your trip, you will call CCPS (or your pet sitter will call you), return your key (if requested), and make sure you and your pet are satisfied. A follow up email and feedback survey is sent, to complete. The next step - is planning your next trip!
