FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Business has a huge impact on our society. It's the place most of us earn our living. It's the place most of us buy everything we need to live. Thriving businesses that really know who they are contribute to the well-being of our communities and families. That's why I'm in this line of work, so we can all thrive.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My clients are mid-sized companies with a drive to grow and learn. I work with executive teams in a private workshop setting, taking the time to address critical questions and develop key habits in the areas of Strategy, Execution, People and Cash: The Rockefeller Habits. With this clarity, we break through barriers to growth within the team and the company as a whole. Between quarterly offsite workshops, I stay in close contact with the owner or CEO to keep the process on track and address any new blocks that might come up.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

As a CEO, time is precious, and reaching out to a coach has become part of the deal in the business life of growing leaders. Just as making a bad hire to your leadership team is costly and painful, choosing the wrong coach wastes energy, money, and brain power that can't be recovered. When a CEO or other executive reaches out to me for coaching, we enter a powerful conversation. I'll ask you some tough questions, and I expect the same from you. This discovery process is a critical moment in forming our relationship, and my commitment is to guide Portland's dynamic, talented leaders to the right coach for each situation. Sometimes that's me, and other times, we're not the right fit. After rigorously exploring the situation, the right fit is crystal clear to both of us, and we move forward to accelerate the growth you're looking for. I encourage you to seek out a coach using your own probing discovery process. Need to know what questions are right for you and your company? Give me a call and we'll uncover them together.
