Sometimes you have an idea in your head, and the raw talent from someone brings it to life, and then makes it even better than you could have ever imagined. Working with Lion & Poppy is like that. I had an idea of what I envisioned in my head for my place cards at my wedding, but Nicole's beautiful creativity elevated my vision. It felt really good to have such delicacy in the small details and many people commented on how beautiful our place settings were. Not only that, but Nicole is kind, a pleasure to work with, and has a great sense of humor. She delivered 140 place cards flawlessly, and was always available to chat when I had a suggestion or question. I would highly recommend Lion & Poppy. I wish I had even a fraction of her talent!

Nicole has done a variety of work for me, ranging from illustrated labels to actually designing the calligraphy I translated into appliques for a panel for the AIDS quilt. Her lovely gentle illustrations accompanied her exquisite calligraphy for a number of labels she created. I love the nature imagery she's so often brought into her work. And she's a delight to work with, always taking my suggestions and running with them to new creative directions I could never have envisioned on my own.

Love the creative spirit and open attitude here, and of course the detailed artwork. Would love to come back for more!
