Working with Edis was so many things. A joy. An honor. A thrill. His way of seeing people, nature, ideas and light brought out the very best in our author's book. The book trailer that Edis produced tells in pictures and words what comes of delving deeply into life's mysteries. The author, a brilliant man who has lived an exceptional life, is beautifully exposed. As the son of the founder of modern industrial India he has lived in the extremes that few do. His book titled In Love With Death captures the essence of what it means to live a full life in light of the knowledge that we all will die. Edis was able to tell that story in just a few minutes. As a literary publicist I know what a challenge it can be to distill large ideas into something that can be easily communicated. I am so grateful for Edis's take. We found Edis Jurcys through Thumbtack, and the engagement was on!!... Edis was an incredible asset to our website re-design, having some incredible insight and ability to help us capture the spirit of the project, and inlay it into the photography that we needed. While collaborating, he had patience and concern for 1) listening to the need and 2) getting the shot. Collaboration during the shoot was a two-way dialogue, which we really appreciate. His work with the models (who were just normal folks like us) was outstanding, making everyone feel at ease and actually enjoying the process- very important, in our minds. We would highly recommend Edis to any corporate project, as his depth of artistry combined with the "corporate feel" is outstanding. Our best "kudos" go out to a true professional... - The folks at CabDoor

Edis has done several executive and advertising photo sessions with us at Criterion Brock and we've always been extremely pleased with his work. We'll always turn to him for help with any of our photography needs and plan to use his videography talents in the near future. He's very professional, gives his subjects great direction and is a pleasure to work with. Thanks, Edis!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Corporate, editorial, educational, industrial, people, candid shots, parties, portraits and video.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to the costumer would be to hire a photographer who are not just hard working, but also who are honest and easy to communicate, responsible and fun, additionally to this they shoot personal fine art projects. I think these photographers are trained much better to see and understand client needs. Those photographers are going to give you a better results than you expecting. Don't try to save money and hire a cheapest photographer in town, doesn't work this way. Hire those photographers who live for photography not just for money. Best wishes and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks. edis jurcys
