I had Dan and William come out to do some excavation work (but not concrete). Dan replied to my Thumbtack project post quickly, and showed up a day later to provide me with a free estimate. They were able to get a mini-backhoe in my backyard, turning what would have been about 3-5 days of digging by hand into a 2 day project. William is an artist with the backhoe and operated it with a level of finesse that was impressive. They disposed of the soil as well as removed a bunch of junk from my side yard. While I was a bit disappointed at the amount of dirt that ended up on an adjacent rock walkway, there really wasn’t a good way to avoid it; I just wish I’d raked up the rocks first. I would definitely recommend Dan and William — they were friendly, easy to work with, and responsive to my requests. They made what would have taken me a month to do happen in a couple days, and saved me a ton of backaches, blisters, and headaches.

Great experience with Dan and Concrete Kings! They were able to provide a quick estimate, and fit me into their schedule within just a few days. Nice guys and very hardworking. Liked chatting with Dan on my vision for the backyard hardscaping, and he also had some nice suggestions too. After this project, I've already recommended Concrete Kings to all of my friends and neighbors.

Dan and his team are hard working, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He explained everything start to finish, and asked if it was acceptable. The area from start to finish was kept clean and when the job was complete he asked if it looked fine and is there anything else he could do. The price was great and the finished product was even better. I would highly recommend Dan and Concrete Kings for concrete work.

This is a review of just the communication. Our job was small, requesting a 2 ft x 2 ft demolition plus patch, but Concrete Kings M&M was willing to come out and quote it. They were quick to reply, easy to communicate with, and I have no doubt would have come out quickly as well to provide a quote and get the job underway. We ultimately ended up solving the problem a different way, so I can't comment on the actual concrete services.

We had our driveway redone and re-drained since it was an older driveway with poor drainage. Dan and his crew did an excellent job and did so very quickly. He was not the lowest price but he was very knowledgeable and answered all of my detailed questions about the drainage issue and how that would be solved. The one problem was in the clean up. Some of the crew poured out waste water with concrete sludge into a spot in my garden and it hardened. I was not happy and let Dan know. He was very apologetic and offered to make it right. I had already dug out the sludge so he came and took it away and again was very apologetic. He had not been there at that point in the cleanup and said he was also disappointed that that had happened. That said, they did an otherwise fabulous job. We actually hired them right away again to add a layer to our back patio whose surface and stairs were not done properly. The crew worked efficiently and professionally during a long, hot day, and the result is beautiful. Dan made sure to reinforce the concrete he added, including the stairs. He explained the lines he made in the surface to allow for any movement in the concrete so as to minimize surface cracks over the long term. Better clean up this time. Some of my surrounding plants got a bit trampled but I think they'll survive. Dan was very quick in his responses to my texts and questions. I would definitely recommend Dan and his crew.
