- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Exterior paint jobs, it's generally $1/sq. ft. plus any additional prep and trim work(doors, fascias, gutters, windows, ect.) that will be done. The cost of paint and supplies will be included in this type of estimate proposal. For Interiors it varies more on how many man hours it will take. Usually at a rate of approximetly $80/hr for the two of us and that price would include the paint and supplies. If our client wants to do a day rate with us it is $600/day for the two of us and you will cover the cost of paint and supplies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discussing a project to find an overview of client needs and our strategy for how we will approach the project. After we have had a brief discussion via phone, we will generally meet in person and give a written proposal. After the client accepts the proposal we will sign a written contract with our client that ensures safety of both our client and our company.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Between the two of us are partnership we have a combined 35 years experience. We are licensed by the Contractors Board as Residential General Contractors. The most valuable training we possess is the on site experience that we have learned.
