- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. It is a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career! Often, I am asked what I photograph and most photographers focus on one or two photography styles. But what you'll see in your visit to my page is that I cannot settle on one genre. I adore how little ones consistently melt my heart, enjoy the details sometimes overlooked when traveling, love the beauty held in the milestones of life, and especially am thankful for all the love I am blessed to capture. One of my favorite quotes is from Eudora Welty, "A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away." I believe that every photo tells a story and your story is worth capturing!
