Hi! I’m Shruthi, a 23-year-old, Portland-based photographer and full-time NICU nurse. When I’m not caring for the tiniest humans, I’m behind the camera capturing moments that feel honest, intimate, and full of emotion.
Photography is a way for me to slow down and tell stories through warm, dreamy, cinematic imagery. I’m drawn to natural light, genuine connection, and images that feel timeless. Shruthi is a seriously talented photographer in the PDX area. ✨
She shot solo portraits of me at Laurelhurst Park, and they turned out so gorgeous! Before the session, she sent over a Pinterest board for inspiratio,n and we collaborated on the direction and editing style, which made everything feel aligned.
She was on time, super friendly, and easy to work with. During the shoot, she gave great movement cues that made the photos feel natural and dynamic instead of stiff. The whole session flowed really smoothly.
I’m obsessed with how the photos turned out and would absolutely work with her again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for beautiful, thoughtfully shot portraits in Portland!
