Love hearing Ryan play at PDX, Andina, etc...... so much so that I had to hook up with him for lessons in Portland, excellent teacher as well. Check out his new album.Sep 18, 2016
We engaged Ryan for our daughter's wedding. He worked closely with us beforehand to select appropriate music for the pre-ceremony half hour and for the ceremony itself, including a lovely musical interlude of his own composition. Ryan is a first rate musician, and was reliable and very easy to work with. Our friends and family were very impressed.Feb 25, 2016
My husband and I hired Ryan to perform at our daughters wedding reception this past fall. We first heard Ryan perform at the Portland Airport while waiting for our plane, and were immediately attracted to his beautiful music. We approached him and he was gracious enough to take the time to talk with us and answer all our questions/concerns (and gave us a free CD so we could listen to his music in-depth). We were sold!! Ryan is a very gifted and talented artist. His repertoire is extensive and varied and includes many the best known classical pieces, as well as some of his own beautiful compositions. Please consider hiring Ryan Walsh for your future events .we are so glad we did! Carrie M.Feb 25, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For private events, I generally charge $200 for the first hour, and $95 for every hour thereafter. For weddings, the ceremony is generally $350, and then $95 for every additional hour (such as at the reception or cocktail hour). It is also worth noting that I do not like for money to be a prohibitive issue for anyone, and I am happy to consider a sliding fee when necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We I generally discuss music selection either in person or via email with song samples, as well as the specific requirements of the event. I am happy to work on every detail of your event to make it as perfect as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have taken music lessons since childhood, then guitar lessons throughout adolescence and college, and then I studied at Spain's most prestigious music school to hone my classical guitar skills. I have also taken master classes with several of the most famous names in the instrument, including Jason Vieaux, Ana Vidovic, and Ricardo Gallen.
