FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally charge an hourly rate because gardening can be ongoing rather than just a one-time project. I am open to providing a bid, when requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to take a little time to get to know them, ask questions about what they are wanting and walking around their yard, getting as much input as I can get.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Associate's of Applied Science degree in Horticulture from Clackamas Community College and continue to take classes involving gardening, landscaping and propagation. I have been a Master Gardener since 2008. I have done a variety of volunteer work for the OSU Master Gardeners, but most of my time has been spent up at the Washington Park Rose Garden working and coordinating the clinic table. I have my own little greenhouse and I enjoying growing plants from seeds and cuttings.
