Blue Lark Events is very professional and personable. Ashley is so wonderful to work with! Ashley made an effort to get to know me and helped me from getting overwhelmed or stressed throughout the process. My Matron of Honor had talked me into getting a Day of Coordinator so that I would be able to enjoy my wedding and not stress about anything. I was already planning everything else on my own to keep things budget friendly and really wanted to do everything on my own. However, I listened to my Matron of Honor and when I found Blue Lark Events, everything just fell into place! Ashley was a breath of fresh air from the time we first contacted each other and started talking about my needs for the wedding. I appreciate Ashley’s flexibility and organizational skills. I am currently a medical student out of state and she was able to work with my schedule. I appreciate how accessible she is to schedule webcam meetings, responsive emails, and even texts during the wedding prep/day. Ashley thought of things that I would have never been able to think about while planning. With her past experiences, she was able to think ahead and plan things accordingly. She made sure things got done the way that I wanted and talked with me if things needed to be adjusted. She has an instinct about the flow of the environment and schedule for the day. She is also respectful of my time and accomplished discussing all our updates with each meeting. She was respectful and a great communicator to my other vendors and worked well with them to ensure a smooth transition with everyone. I had little children participate as bearers and a flower girl and she was wonderful with them! She made sure to get on their level, speak to them accordingly, and encouraged them when it was their time to do something. While we were setting up our barn venue, Ashley interacted with some of my bridal party who was helping to set things up and after the setup, they would tell me how much they enjoyed working with her. Even my guests noted how much care and attention Ashley put into my wedding. At the end of the event, my husband and I were very pleased and joyful with our wedding day. I trust Ashley with any event and I know that she will work with everyone to make sure your dream event comes true!

I hired Ashley to help with wedding day coordination for my elopement and she was an essential part of why the day went well. I didn’t have bridesmaids and family members to rely on and I pulled it together within a month, so her help was essential so that I didn’t have to coordinate everything on my own wedding day. Prior to the wedding she did check-in appointments where she made sure I had covered all the details. (When is the photographer showing up? Are there champagne flutes where you need them? Do you have a seating chart?) I counted on those check ins to keep me on track during the planning process. Ashley attended the rehearsal and was great at coaching the children in how to behave during the ceremony. On the wedding day she knew my plans and she coordinated with the caterer, the venue, and the photographer so that I didn’t have to. She was a florist prior to coordinating weddings, so I contracted her to do the flowers as well. She went to the flower market and arranged all the flowers on the day of the wedding AND she decorated the cake with flowers. She also set the table, assisted the photographer, directed family, cleaned up the venue, and endeared herself to everyone in my family. I am so grateful that she did all of these things so that I could focus on being a bride. She is an incredible wedding planner. My husband said that she has the “perfect temperament” for it. Kind, reliable, upbeat, and encouraging. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Ashley was amazing from start to finish! She took my ideas and made our wedding absolutely stunning! The flowers, table decorations and decor were perfect. Her team exceeded our expectations and were so professional from start to finish! Highly recommended for anyone that wants to take the stress out of planning! She helped make our day perfect!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I would love to schedule a time to learn about your vision and details for your upcoming event. This can be done virtually or socially distant in person. It’s ok if there are any gaps, we can fill those in together! After our meeting, I will follow up with a quote for all services discussed. If you’re ready to book, a deposit is required. Communication can continue up to the event day to finalize details.
