Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I love working one-on-one with students because of the individualized focus that the format allows. As a professional with over 10 years of experience, I always strive to customize lessons to suit each student's ability, interests and needs. As a result, lessons are more meaningful, more impactful and more enjoyable! I love being able to help students of many ages and ability levels achieve their goals because at the end of the day, we are all people on a musical journey. It doesn't matter if you're in middle school or in retirement, behind the piano or on the saxophone. Your instrument lessons are just one part of the process of immersing yourself in the world of music. Some of my students take on additional instruments, broaden their knowledge of musical genres, music history or write their own music. I love seeing my students' worlds expand. Give me a call to schedule a free 30-minute trial lesson/consultation today!

Having Justin give private lessons to my daughter was a truly wonderful experience. He came to our house, was always on time, and was always very well prepared. He was responsive and flexible if I ever needed to cancel or reschedule a lesson. He is an excellent teacher, and helped my 10-year old daughter to understand so much about her saxophone and about music theory. He is incredibly clear in his explanations, and is one of the most patient people I have ever met. He is also exceedingly kind and at ease relating to young people, which made the experience so much more enjoyable and approachable for my daughter. In addition to all of this, I think his services are very reasonably priced, especially considering that he came to our house. I would give him the highest possible recommendation as a music teacher.

I've been taking lessons with Justin for nearly two years. I am a retired USPS employee and throughout my life I have always wanted to learn about music theory, how to read music etc. Yet, I lacked the confidence necessary to believe I was capable. With Justin 's instruction, I am now reading music and making progress in saxophone play. Not only is he knowledgeable in music theory, he is very patient in his teaching methods. Anyone who uses Justin 's service will not be disappointed.

Justin gave in-house lessons on sax and clarinet for my kids. He never missed a session, was flexible in our rescheduling, and did a great job helping both kids improve AND love music and playing.

Justin is always prompt. He does a very good job of instructing our 12 year old with piano. He is kind and patient. I would recommend him to friends and family.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take a free preliminary lesson whenever one is offered. This eliminates the risk of losing money on the customer's part, even for one lesson, and allows the first lesson to be a comfortable, obligation-free session where the teacher and potential student can meet, experience what a lesson with the teacher would look like, and see if your personalities and approaches are compatible. If it's not a good match, take another lesson with someone else!
