- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting rate for any portrait, event, or commercial photography is $250. Larger projects vary in price depending on the scope of the work. Depending on the circumstances I can offer discounts on a case by case basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to get to know my customers some before booking a shoot. I'm mostly curious to know about what inspires them and what they hope to gain from working with me. For weddings and engagements, it's nice to know about how the couple met, what they love about each other, and how they spend their time together. More than anything, I just want to make sure that my clients feel comfortable and safe to be themselves around me. Most of my work involves photographing people, and I believe that I'm able to produce the best images when my subjects are at ease.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer with 10 years of experience shooting everything from weddings and events to still-life product photography.
