- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did an internship in nursing home administration while still in college and found accounting, third party billings and analysis was something I was good at.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a client that needed to have property tax returns done every every year for every county in every state in the United States and Canada. I had to use ORACLE accounting software to download data from Fixed Assets, export the data to EXCELand then use ACCESS to extract the relevant data for each county and then present the data in the format that each county wanted it. I had approximately 10 weeks to do this (in addition to everything else to do)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am able to take often complicated situations and explain them in an understandable way. I will also go to a client.
