John Buckingham is exactly the kind of web developer you want to work with. A consummate professional: perfectionist, knowledgeable, unfailingly honest (in a good way), thorough, prompt, and someone who takes pride not only in the finished product, but in the relationships he builds with clients. No matter how dumb you feel for asking simple, repeated, constant questions, he always responds promptly with a wonderful sense of humor that makes you feel you’re welcome to ask any future question that should pop into your head. He was great at letting us know our options, giving us his assessment on what we needed and didn’t need, and working within our budget. When our own dreams were getting ahead of our budget, he worked with us to revise our plan to make sure that we remained within the estimated cost but also to ensure that we had a final product we could be proud of. John worked with members of our publishing team and our authors to ensure that all stakeholders had an input and were satisfied with the final product. He produced a beautiful website for us – check it out! www.untanglingthewebcommunity.com. We would hire him again in a minute should the need arise for another online community. If you want a quality, robust website developed quickly and within your budget, you can’t go wrong with John Buckingham.

John went above and beyond in every way. I had a very complicated, specific idea for the design of my website and John created an entirely original design based on my descriptions. I get compliments on my website all of the time, and I don't hesitate to tell people about his outstanding work. On top of his skill, John is reliable and trustworthy. I had a wonderful experience as his client and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I had John design a website for my business, an auto repair garage. I didn't know anything about what was possible or how it would look so John gave me some ideas of what he could do. What he came up with was very cool and I love it. You can see it at MillsGarage.com. If you go look at it you will see that I haven't been keeping it up like I should, I am not much of a writer. He made places where I could post an article or comment on a topic. John was very good to work with and I would reccomend him.

I have had the pleasure of working with John on several projects and I am consistently impressed with his concern for the success of the project. I especially appreciate his attention to detail. John is capable in multiple areas of web work including design, writing and coding which allows him to handle all aspects of a website project. It would be a joy to work with John again on future projects.

John helped us set-up the membership portion of our client's site. He was amazing to work with! Quick, efficient and extremely helpful answering questions. I'd highly recommend John for any of your web development project needs.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I most frequently build eCommerce stores, freelance portfolios, photography sites, affiliate sites and stores, and custom social networking sites.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that the provider you're hiring is skilled in the area you need. Web design and development is a broad field, and not all developers were created with equal skillsets.
