FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, please see the website for details. mobilemusicentertainment.com We have many options and add-ons to choose from.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are happy to have the initial conversations with our potential customers over the phone or via email to insure that we can meet all of their specific needs. The next step is to preferably meet with them in person to go over our contract and additional information that they may have. If this is not an option to meet due to the travel distance between the client and my location in the Portland-Metro area, I am happy to complete the process via email and phone conversations. Communication is important, so much so that our conversations do not cost the client extra and is always encouraged. We pride ourselves in being able to connect with our clients and provide them with personalized music entertainment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former educator and public speaker. I have my own consultation and advocacy business where I specialize in assisting students with special needs and their families. I have worked with numerous school districts and have provided many workshops. I have a master's degree in Special Education. What does this have to do with the DJ/MC entertainment business? Well, I understand people and know how to accommodate varying needs. I understand the small business aspects too. Honestly, I leave the actual professional entertainment and talent to the fabulous guys who have stepped up to continue my brother's legacy from MMES. I have on occasion, been a DJ for smaller events and for those who may have a limited budget for DJ/Music entertainment. PDX-MMES has a similar business model, with just Brian's sister leading the way. I have also been involved in the past with troubleshooting and supporting him when he took ownership of MMES. I know the challenges he faced as well as the joy he had from each event. He loved working with people and the feedback since his passing has given me more insight into his success. So, yes, experience in a sense. Let my DJ/MC guys take it from there. They are fabulous!
