Introduction: Every dog, every owner, and every situation is different from another. I love the challenge of finding the perfect solution to each specific problem, and don't give up until we meet the need! I love helping both animals and people! Over many years of experience with both two-legged and four-legged friends, I have found that most sad endings happen mostly from an inability of the animals and owners to communicate effectively and understand their roles. What I love most is seeing dogs and their people understand how to work together!

We had Jeanie work with two of our dogs, one with aggression and another who just needed some obedience training. For both dogs she wrote out a daily plan for us to follow and implement and was very clear in explaining and showing us each set of the directions for each dog. She was so patient with the dogs and you can tell that she really cares about them and about finding a plan that works for you and your baby! We love having her as our trainer, She's definitely the best around!

Jeanie has given us so much help with our golden retriever. She really understood the impact our dog's behavior had on the household and how much we needed the tools to achieve good citizenship. His behavior is more complex than we had previously encountered as pet owners. Jeanie has been extremely patient and thorough in her assessments and plans. She has been ultra flexible and has gone the extra mile to help us, even checking in when it wasn't expected. We are so glad to have her in our corner!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price is $25 per single lesson, or $150 for a package of 7 lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will meet at the client's home for a free consultation, where I can meet the owners and their dog(s). I gain an understanding of the owners' hopes and expectations, and make an assessment of how I can help. We then set up a date to begin!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I frequently take continuing education classes through Animal Behavior College, where I received my certification, and I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
