Introduction: Carpentry/construction, is more than "work." Few people are lucky enough to say that what they do for a living is also their passion. I take great care in the work I do for others because the finished product is a showcase of my talents and abilities. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To get an idea of a reasonable price range for work you are inquiring about, always obtain at least 2-3 estimates. If an estimate is significantly lower than the others, beware. Ask a lot of questions. Don't be affraid to ask about materials used, and about the steps in the process that your contractor will use to complete the job to your satisfaction. Lastly, do not let someone rush you into a decision you are not ready to make, and remember to do a little research on your own.
