Introduction: I prepare original books of entry, maintain the general ledger and close it monthly. I run a monthly trial balance reports, create a monthly financial statement comparing actual results with budget and prior year, create an analysis report of all major differences versus budget and prior year, and prepare all required tax reports for federal, state and local jurisdictions.
I work with banks and other financial institutions when required. I perform the personnel and financial analysis when a business entity or a major asset was acquired.
I spent over 10 years as a part-time teacher with local community colleges and business school teaching accounting, finance and data processing. I am very familiar with a personal computer using QuickBooks and turbo tax. I also own an Internet business marketing goods on eBay.
