I've done work with tech start-ups in the industrial design arena as well as environmental graphics for a 300k-square-foot pair of floors in Google's NYC headquarters.

My fiancee and I tapped Steve to make a logo for our small lawncare business, along with pdf designs for business cards, lawn signs, quote letters, and invoices. Lawn care was not an industry he had ever worked with before, but he did an excellent job! Our logo is so much more professional-looking than even the biggest, most established companies in our area. He blew everyone out of the water!
Another thing I appreciated about Steve's work style is that he was up-front about communicating how the design process would work, so that we could know what to expect from him.
Finally, Steve kept the number of choices small, which made it easy to choose what we wanted. It also minimized the potential for conflict between me and my fiancee--what a great marriage saver! :)

I went to Steve with a board game prototype and I asked him to design the board, the cards and the instruction manual. He did a great job. He is collaborative and passionate about his work. I would not hesitate to use him again.
